Assist with a variety of our civil rights and class action matters in a hands-on, substantive manner. Work closely with attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including legal research, factual investigations, and drafting of memoranda, motions, affidavits, briefs, and correspondence; perform client intake interviews; manage case files; and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
Start date is negotiable.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated interest in a legal career. Applicants should have:

excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills;
fastidious organizational skills, with a particular ability to multi-task;
excellent research and analytical capabilities, including a strong attention to detail;
initiative and energy to see projects to completion;
ability to work effectively in a team environment;
well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional desirable skills: Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and LexisNexis; working fluency in a second language.
